Danger Trees at Lion’s Park

After the most recent storm, Public Works had to address some dangerous broken and hanging branches at Lion’s Park. While doing so a danger tree assessment was performed, by a certified Danger Tree Assessor, on all the trees in the park. His report identified several trees that showed signs of heavy leaning, scarring, and varying kinds of rot. For the safety of all park users these trees will be removed.  This work will begin soon, and we ask the proper space be given to the crew when the work is being done for the safety of them and the public.
